Adding Value to Copper

It is amazing how much value Africa loses by just not processing raw materials like copper. While copper costs about $7,000 per tonne, copper bathtubs cost about $500-1000. You make several bathtubs from a tonne of copper.

However, African copper exports like Zambia don't make these luxury items. You make other things from copper like kettles.
